A pair of antique chromolithograph prints for Vanity Fair Magazine titled The Criminal Code and City Justice. These cartoons depict judges and are signed ‘Spy’ in plate, the pseudonym of British cartoonist Sir Leslie Ward (1851-1922). The works are dated 1885 and 1880. They are presented under glass in wood frames, wired to hang.
Condition
- discoloration to paper; nicks and scratches to frames.
