Item Details

A Chinese hand-painted porcelain teapot. The teapot features an applied double loop handle, round fitted lid with an applied bird shaped finial, an applied spout, and an ovoid form. It has hand-painted bird and foliate motif decoration in a palette of pink, yellow, and green on a white ground. The teapot is marked with an apocryphal Shunzhi reign mark, however, the teapot was produced in the mid 20th century.
