An oil painting on canvas by listed French artist Henri Renard (born 1920). This vintage street scene depicts a corner cafe with the Arc de Triomphe further down the way. It is painted in bold colors and expressive brushstrokes. The work is signed to the lower left and presented in a gilt wood frame with ornate gesso cartouche molding in the corners and a black velvet liner. There is wire to the verso for hanging.

Condition

- some damage to all four corners of frame, with the upper left corner missing a large piece of gesso molding.
