A pair of 20th century Regency style black lacquered chinoiserie chests by famed NY decorator Mrs. MacDougall for Hinson & Co.. Each of the three drawer chests in black lacquer is decorated in the chinoiserie style to the top, drawer fronts and sides illustrating landscapes and florals. The top corners are notched, all drawers with oval brass hinged pulls and each chest is elevated on tapered legs. Mrs. MacDougall was a famed decorator in New York working from 1965 to 1990.
