Smithsonian Institution 150th Anniversary Commemorative Coins set. Set contains a proof 1996-P Smithsonian commemorative silver dollar, an uncirculated 1996-D Smithsonian commemorative silver dollar, an uncirculated 1996-W Smithsonian commemorative $5 gold coin and a proof 1996-W Smithsonian commemorative $5 gold coin. Silver dollar Metal Content: 90% silver, 10% copper. Gold coin Metal Content: 90% gold, 4% silver, 6% copper. Weight of silver dollars: approx. 26.73 grams (each). Weight of gold coins: approx. 8.36 grams (each). Coins are in very good condition and come in a nice wooden display box produced by the U.S. Mint. Display box measures 10 1/4′ × 4 1/4′ × 1 1/2’.
