A German Tempus Fugit grandfather clock. A walnut wood case with other hardwoods and veneers that features wood overlays and brass accents. The case has a colonial style with scrolled pedimants that are accented with carved acanthus leaves. The case has a glass front door on the top that displays a brass dial with raised brass spandrels accenting a silvertone dial with black Roman numerals and serpentine hands. The dial surrounds a gold tone hammered center with a silvertone Tempus Fugit emblem above. Other features of the clock include glass side panels and a glass front door at the waist that displays a brass pendulum and cylinder weights. The clock has a weight driven movement with chimes and stands on a podium style pedestal with a decorative carved floral overlay and bracket feet.There are no apparent makers marks.
