Her work and style is impressionistic. She paints directly from nature itself; yet it is her own vision. “When I paint,” she says, “I am expressing my appreciation for form and color in the sunlight. I need to be on location where I can see the changing effects of light and shadow.” Mary divides her time between her homes in Hingham, MA and Palm Beach, Fl. Both locations offer limitless views of coastal and garden scenes for which Mary’s paintings are recognized.
