An original acrylic painting on canvas by contemporary Cincinnati artist Teresa Tolentino. This abstract painting features circular shapes in bright orange and blue encroaching onto the central color field from the lower left of the composition. It is signed in black pigment to the lower right. The stretched canvas is unframed, awaiting your choice of presentation.

Tolentino was an artistic child growing up in middle-class America. However, when she gained early acceptance to Xavier University there was no art major. Instead, she majored in Foreign Languages, which became a huge influence in her art. After working in education for over thirty years, including teaching positions at the University of Cincinnati, Miami University, Xavier University, and Seven Hills, she was finally able to begin her art career, using her entire life’s journey as her inspiration. Recently, and most poignantly, this has included her family’s struggle with Huntington’s disease.
