Print Advertisements for U.S. War Bonds
Item Details
A collection of four halftone and offset lithograph printed posters from the original World War II printings advertising the sale of U.S. war bonds. They were designed by artists and illustrators N.C. Wyeth (1882-1945), Henry Billings (1901-1985), and John C. Atherton (1900-1952) with slogans such as ‘Buy a Share in America’ and ’Let’s Fly This Flag; Everybody at Least 10% in War Bonds’. Also included is a travel poster for Scotland from the British airline BOAC. All posters are presented unframed.

- to Poor; condition varies between posters; severe wear and discoloration to surface of all prints; notable tears to edges of all prints; tears continue into imagery and are most sever on poster with hands in front of factory.
