Item Details
A collection of two Russian lacquered miniature boxes. The black rectangular box depicts the painted Russian folk tale of the ‘Golden Cockerel,’ and is thought to be from Kholui. The brown leather round trinket box is thought to depict a story about a prince and maiden. Both feature removable lids, with a red interior. Both boxes are signed in Cyrillic along the lower edge.
