A vintage chinoiserie bamboo hall tree. The bamboo is finished in a mottled finish, featuring parallel spindles in a geometric design. Curved pieces of bamboo serve as a crest rail and front legs. There are X braces on the bottom back. The piece includes a rectangular beveled mirror and three colorful floral tiles affixed to the frame as well as pegs for hanging garments or hats. Three compartments above a brass tray are intended to hold umbrellas.
