1930s Majestic Model 25 Floor Radio

Item Details

A Majestic Model 25 radio, produced circa the early 1930s. This floor model radio has a wooden cabinet with a brass tone dial window and knobs, an arch-shaped grille, palmette and scroll accents to the skirt, and four turned square legs with an X stretcher. The dataplate on the back of the radio reads ‘Majestic’, ‘Model 25’ and ‘Grigsby-Grunow Co. Chicago, U.S.A.’ A label on the speaker gives the model number G-13 and serial 026053.
