Item Details
An antique J.W. Ray & Sons Sestrel ships clock. A solid brass clock with a cylinder shape that features a brass hinged, heavy beveled glass door on the front. The door displays a white metal face with black Roman numerals, steel spade hands and a subsidary seconds dial with black Arabic numbers and a crescent hand. The clock has a key arbor on the center of the dial and an 8-day time and strike movement, a brass winding key and a brass base with holes for hanging. The clock is marked ‘J.W. Ray & Sons’ and ’ Sestrel’ on the face.
