Resin

A cast resin sculpture after French sculptor Émile Bruchon (1806-1895). This piece depicts a woman in a thin, flowing dress that clings to her figure. She holds a basket of flowers in one hand and a scarf in the other, flowing in the wind over her head. A cherubic figure looks around a column of stone between the two, on top of which a vase is pouring out water. The sculpture has an in-mold signature near the base and is finished with a bronze tone with color variations between the cloth, stone, and skin of the figures. It sits on a circular, cream-colored resin base.
