Antique Vintage Dresden Porcelain Cup and Saucer, Circa 1883
Item Details
A vintage Dresden porcelain hand painted cup and saucer. The cup in this pairing is fashioned from fine white porcelain with two scrolled handles and a large scalloped edge. It is hand painted with landscape panels and floral bouquets. The cup is paired with a oval shaped saucer in a complementary design. Each piece is marked Dresden to the bottom. The mark dates the piece to 1883. It signified a collaboration between four decorating houses; Karl Richard Klemm, Donath and Co, Oswald Lorens and Adolf Hamman.
