A wood and brass chest by Maitland-Smith. The decorative box has a cracked, brown leather look surface with raised marquetry designs in gold hues. The hinged lid with gold tone finial opens to an unlined wood interior. The chest rests on ornate gold tone paw feet and is sticker marked to the underside ‘Hand Made in China Designed by Maitland-Smith Ltd.’.
