A power-loomed Karastan Persian Tabriz style wool area rug. This rug has a hunting scene motif in a palette of pale blue, pale pink, salmon, mocha, moss green, and indigo on an ecru or beige field. Meandering palmettes make up the main border, which is flanked by guard stripes in a running water pattern. It ends in applied fringe with machine overcast selvedges. Labels to reverse.
