An early 20th-century chromolithograph on paper titled Mated after Cecil Aldin (British; 1870-1935). This work features a couple of gentlemen playing chess in a posh living room space. The work is signed and dated in plate to the lower left. It is presented under glass in a black painted wood frame with a red painted liner; a metal plate with the engraved title is affixed to the lower center.

Condition

- some residue throughout glass; small chips along edges of frame; scratches and finish loss scattered throughout frame; ripped paper backing.
