Vintage Limoges France for Marshall Fields & Company Porcelain Luncheon Plates
Item Details
A set of twelve porcelain luncheon plates by a company of Limoges, France. The plates were made exclusively for Chicago’s Marshall Fields & Company. The overall white plates have a transfer print border along the rim in blue with pinkish red flowers which are enclosed by gold borders. To the versos, they are marked, ‘Limoges UC France’ and ‘M.F.&Co.’
