An oil painting on canvas board by listed 20th Century artist Maude Walker. This painting depicts a young woman wearing a long sheer white dress seated at a desk writing a letter. The painting features no visible signature and is housed in a gold tone wooden and gesso frame. A hand written note affixed to the verso lists the artist’s name.

Condition

-pieces of gesso are missing from the upper left of frame. Cracks in gesso throughout frame. The surface paint is cracking from the center to the lower half of painting.
