Item Details
A Telechron Revere Gothic mantel clock with Chimes. A 1929 electric clock that has a mahogany wood case in a Gothic style with Westminister chimes. The mahogany case has a curved bonnet with a scalloped overlay and spire finials on the corners with inset side panels and side columns with decorative veneer inlays. The front of the clock features a glass front door with an arched wood frame and beveled glass. The door displays a silver tone dial with an etched floral design and spandrels. The dial has raised black Arabic numbers on the chapter ring with black hands and a gold tone crescent sweep hand. Other features of the clock include a Telechron motor, Westminister chimes with the hour count on the hour, a chime silence switch and the clock stands on a plinth style base. The clock is marked ‘Telechron’ and ‘Revere’ on the face and is model # R130.
