David Michael Beck was born in Springfield, Illinois and is known for his detailed illustrations, which are included in comic books and various publications. Beck received formal artistic training at Wright State University, The American Academy of Art, and The Chicago Academy of Fine Art, which launched his career in illustration. His works are displayed in private collections and he is currently working with DC comics illustrating the Jonah Hex series.
