A pair of antique chromolithograph prints by listed lithographer Louis Prang (Germany/United States, 1823 – 1909) titled Group of Finches and Weaver Birds, published in Our Living World: An Artistic Edition Of The Rev. J. G. Wood’s Natural History of Animate Creation, Volume II, published by Selmar Hess, New York in 1885. Each print is presented behind a dark green mat with mint green and gold-tone liners, under glass, in a stained wood frame with a hanging wire to the verso. Each has a handwritten inscription to the verso indicating the title, lithographer, and date.
