A collection of nine antique editions of novels by Robert Louis Stevenson. Included is a 1913 edition of Kidnapped, published in New York by Charles Scribner’s Sons. This book includes several illustrated plates and is bound in a green clothbound hardcover with gilt lettering. Also included are eight Mirage Edition novels, all published 1906 in New York by Current Literature Publishing Co. These novels include The New Arabian Nights, Treasure Island, Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde Merry Men, Kidnapped, Travels with a Donkey, An Inland Voyage, Virginibus Puerisque, Child’s Garden of Verso Underwoods, and Familiar Studies. Each book is bound in matching green clothbound hardcovers with white lettering on the covers. Each book also includes a halftone frontispiece, many of which are photographic portraits.
