Group of thirteen Spanish Colonial Era coins dating from the 16th to mid 17th centuries. Most coins are composed of a low silver grade billon (averaging around 96% copper, 4% silver). Several of the larger ones are stamped with a Roman numeral, indicating the coin’s denomination. Largest coin measures 30 mm, smallest coin measures 16 mm. Coins are circulated and in poor condition.
