A collection of sterling silver flatware in the 1948 Promise pattern by Royal Crest. This set includes eleven dinner forks, eleven salad forks, four teaspoons, six iced tea spoons, three grille forks, two tablespoons, seven place spoons, three demitasse spoons, a sugar spoon, a lemon fork, a jelly server, a gravy ladle, a pierced pie server, a hollow handle pie server with a stainless steel blade, a flat handle master butter, two flat handle butter spreaders, and twelve hollow handle dinner knives with stainless steel blades. Each piece is stamped, ‘Royal Crest Sterling’ and they are presented in an 1847 Rogers Bros. wooden flatware chest with a red felt lining. Total approximate weight, excluding knives and pie server, is 65.790 ozt.
