Item Details
A pair of vintage Hitchcock style side chairs by Nichols & Stone. Each chair features a spool-turned crest rail and a ladder back with spindles to the lower section. They have contoured seats with scrolled fronts and rest upon spool-turned legs with box stretchers and small bun feet. Each chair has a black finish with gold tone accents and is embellished with stenciled fruit and foliate designs to its back. They are marked ‘Windsor Nichols & Stone Gardner, Mass.’ and ‘NS’ to their undersides.
