A 1930s Atwater Kent model 70 type L chassis console radio featuring solid mahogany and mahogany veneer cabinet type housing. The piece retains its original makers plaque to the back marked ‘Atwater Kent Model 70 Serial R210961 Number’. The radio chassis is marked with a maker’s plaque marked ‘Atwater Kent Type L Chassis Serial Number 6274100’ to the back.
