A pair of antique hand-colored etchings by listed artist George Edwards (1694-1773) from his book Natural History of Uncommon Birds. The first depicts a blue-winged goose standing on a rock at a pond, and is signed, dated 1748, and captioned in plate to the lower margin. The second depicts a pair of white godwits, and is unsigned. Both are presented behind glass in wood frames with string to the versos for hanging.

- image paper is discolored and dirty; nicks and scratches around the frame.
