An exceptional contemporary Navajo seed pot signed by Bob Lansing. This hand thrown stoneware vessel has a raised circular mouth and neck atop a disc shaped body in a palette of maroon, wheat, grey-black, and white. The exterior is accented with a wide band of intricately hand etched geometric patterns, featuring a central frieze with a pair of hummingbirds in flight over a mountain range, framed by carved feather patterns.
