Antique Brass and Tin Ash Bin

Item Details

An antique brass and tin ash bin. A bin that features a classical foliate and floral fretwork design on a slanted lid and a rectangularly shaped bin with a repousse square design. The bin has a brass embossed oval on the front with brass bands and embossed floral side handles and the bin stands on an ornate base with egg and dart molding above leaves and flowers in relief and tapered brass feet with floral and leaf accents. There are no apparent makers marks.

Condition

- to fair, some oxidation and bent metal, spots, wear and scratches.
