Painted Pedestal Desk by Stanley Furniture

Item Details

A pedestal desk by Stanley Furniture with a cream-painted finish and green and orange trim. This piece has a rectangular top and features three stacked drawers beside a single drawer over a kneehole; the drawers are equipped with brass tone rosette pulls and the stacked drawers feature concave panels with floral motifs. The pedestal side of the desk has a serpentine apron and rests upon bracket feet; the kneehole side rises on curving legs with serpentine stretchers. One drawer is marked ‘Stanley’ to the interior.

Condition

- one drawer is loose and does not sit straight; nicks along edges; considerable losses, edge wear, scuffs, residue, discoloration, and marks to paint; residue to drawer interiors.
