Vintage Elgin Regulator Wall Clock with Calendar
Item Details
A vintage Elgin regulator wall clock. A classic store regulator clock with a wood case that has a walnut stained finish and features a calendar on the dial. The clock has a molded bonnet set on a rectangular frame with a door that has beveled edges and a glass front panel with the word ‘Regulator’ in gilded letters. The door displays a gold tone bezel surrounding a white metal face with black Roman numerals and a calendar in red Arabic numbers on the outer dial with black hands and a red crescent hand. Other features of the clock include a brass pendulum, a 31-day time and strike movement, a winding key and a hook on the verso for hanging. The clock is marked ‘Elgin’ on the face.
