Limoges Dark Blue Glazed Porcelain Egg Trinket Box

Item Details

A Limoges porcelain trinket box. This piece has an egg-shape with a dark blue glazed body and a courting couple scene on the lid surrounded by gilt scrolled foliage, as well as a gilt hinge and floral sprays to the body. The box has a scrolled lock at the front. The underside is labeled, ‘Galeries Lafayette’ and marked, ‘Made in France’.
