An original oil painting on canvas by listed American artist Georges Choquet Perez (20th century). This abstract painting features an irregular grid of thick palette knife strokes, rendered with defined edges and a bright, clear palette. This work is signed in orange pigment to the lower right. It is housed in a wood frame with a black sides, a gold tone face and a beige linen liner. A hanging wire is present to the verso, and an engraved brass plaque indicating the artist’s name is attached to the base.

- scattered small areas of craquelure and accretion. Minor wear to finish of frame.
