An oil painting after an 18th century French scene signed Schroter. This copy painting depicts a lush arrangement of peonies ad other flowers winding down the side of an urn near a fluted column. A silver platter holding an assortment of fruit rests at its base, near a small dog and parrot. The work is signed ‘Schroter’ in the lower right corner. It is presented in a gold tone composite frame with molded arabesque detail. There is a hanging wire mounted to the verso.

-there are minor to moderate markings throughout.
