An original oil landscape on canvas by H.Stadler (German 1914-?). This painting is rendered in a palette of neutrals with accents of turquoise, orange and mint green. The painting depicts a fantastically mysterious forest enclosing a tranquil pond under a vanilla sky. The piece is signed and illegibly titled to the lower right hand side and presented in a carved and painted wooden frame with brass name plate and wire to the verso.
