1960 Graphite Drawing on Paper "Esther Lewis"
Item Details
A graphite drawing on paper of a seated woman created in 1960. This work features a full-body portrait of an older woman with her head wrapped in a scarf. It is dated and titled to the lower left, appearing to read ‘Esther Lewis’. The work is illegibly signed and dated 1960 to the lower right. It is presented under glass with a fabric-covered mat and housed in a gold-tone wood frame. A frame label is adhered to the verso.
Condition
- minor toning in paper; toning and small stains throughout mat; some wear in frame includes stains, scratches, and finish loss scattered throughout.
