A watercolor painting by Chinese-born artist Victor Ing (1924-1997). This piece depicts a collection of chicks pecking at bits of grass, all rendered in washes of earth tone color. The piece is marked with a signature stamp and signed ‘V. Ing, A.W.S.’ to its lower right, and is matted under glass in a metal frame with the artist’s biography to its verso.
