An oil painting on board by Nantucket-based artist Polly Bushong (1910-1990). This whimsical still life painting depicts a stylized bouquet of orange flowers in a green vase, set against a two tone orange background. The work is signed in the lower left ‘Polly Bushong, fecit’. It is presented in a gold tone wood and gesso frame with a hanging bracket mounted to the verso.

Condition

- wear to the edges of the frame; additional wear to the face of the frame; frame could benefit from a cleaning; craquelure throughout the image; to the verso, some wear to the board.
