A hand painted Noritake vase featuring a classic urn shape and scene of ruins at dusk to the upper part of the body and floral motif to the lower. The piece has gilded handles and gilded scroll decoration to the base and rim and is marked ‘Hand Painted Nippon’ with the letter ‘M’ surrounded by a wreath. This was the mark Nortitake used from 1911 to 1921.

- gild wear to the handles.
