This Impressionist style drawing depicts a thick canopy of trees rendered in darkened tones, which are incised throughout and reinforced with frenetic marks. To the lower right corner is an illegible, dated artist signature. The drawing is presented under layered matting.

- chipping and wear to the edges of the mat; discoloration to the edges of the mat; stain to the bottom left of the mat; some scratches and wear to the surface of the drawing; to the verso, discoloration and wear.
