An early twentieth-century Sheffield Velocipede Car Company two-cylinder engine for railroad construction and repair vehicles. The engine features an inline-style configuration with brass fittings to the top of the cylinder heads. It is marked Sheffield to the side of the crankshaft housing. It retains an engine number plaque marked Y4824.
