An 1894 first American edition copy of Rudyard Kipling’s classic novel The Jungle Book, published by The Century Co. of New York. This is the first impression of the first edition, identifiable by the lack of a print count to the title page, as is present in later printings. It has black-and-white lithograph illustrations, and is bound in a stamped green cloth hardcover with gilt designs and lettering.

- to fair; light toning/sun damage to boards; slight staining; spine toning with wear to top and bottom; hinges somewhat loose.
