Italian Renaissance-Revival Sideboard

Item Details

An Italian Renaissance-Revival sideboard in walnut and burl veneers. The architectural backsplash features and arched crest with carved rosette and roundel, between framed burl panels and ionic capital turnings. The rouge marble top is inset into a heavy molded border, above four narrow drawers, over to centered doors with divided burl panels, between four fluted columnar legs and open shelving to either end. The molded base is raised on later casters. Circa 1870s.

- having minor wear, later casters added.
