An Italian hand-painted ceramic table lamp. This single socket lamp is offered in a vase shape with brass harp and finial. It is decorated with painted fruits and foliage in bright colors over a white ground in a majolica style. The words ‘peri guanditi’ are painted in a frieze across the middle section of the lamp, which has green glazed applied handles in the form of curling vines. It rests on a wood base, and it is unlabeled.
