Antique Globe-Wernicke Barrister's Bookcase with Drawer Base
Item Details
An antique Globe-Wernicke barrister’s bookcase have three shelves and a drawer to the base. The center shelf has a leaded glass front. The stepped-out base features a full-width dovetailed drawer with metal mushroom pulls. Two units retain the original manufacturer’s paper sticker which reads “Manufactured by The Globe-Wereicke Co. Cincinnati, O. / Branches or Agencies Everywhere / Patented / Size D-10 1/4 / Grade 598”.
