A mixed media collage titled Topaz I by Joy Broe (b. 1948). This abstract piece is rendered with layers of paper, silver-toned foil and paint, some of which is applied via airbrush. It features an arrangement of pink, green and coppery geometric shapes against a black ground, with the title noted to its lower right corner in gold tone ink along with the artist’s signature. It is mounted under acrylic glazing in a wooden frame and includes a wire to its verso for hanging.
