An oil painting on canvas of a lake house by listed artist Wilhelm van Norden (1883-1978). This exterior scene depicts two figures standing on a dock overlooking a serene lake outside of a white home. It is signed by Norton in the lower right corner. The work is presented in a gold tone wood and gesso frame with molded arabesque motif. There is a hanging wire mounted to the verso.
