Korean Reticulated Celadon Vase

Item Details

A signed Korean celadon vase. This vessel features a flared lip and a pair of molded handles to the neck. It descends to a bulbous body molded with a reticulated ring pattern band. The piece is decorated with diminutive crane motifs and a pale green glaze with a craquelure finish. It is signed and sealed ‘Dongcheon’ (東泉) to the underside.

Condition

- minor marks and faint scratches consistent with gentle use; intentionally crazed finish.
